Lisa Yaeger is the Bistro Award-winning creator and performer of the critically acclaimed Jersey Girl, a cabaret celebrating the music and artists of her home state of New Jersey. The show debuted in 2017 and enjoyed a successful run of more than a year, also earning Broadway World and MAC (Manhattan Association of Cabarets) Award nominations.
In reviews of both the stage show and her debut album, BistroAwards.com has praised Lisa as an "insightful interpreter of song" who "brings incredible depth to her renditions" with an "impressive voice,” calling her "a dynamic pop singer” with terrific theatrical instincts" and "remarkably daring."
On May 15, 2026, Lisa released her debut solo album, Jersey Girl, created in collaboration with the late arranger and musical director Rick Jensen. The album features the extraordinary talents of Steven Bargonetti and Sean Harkness on guitars, Tom Hubbard on bass, and Rick Jensen on piano and backing vocals. Jersey Girl is available on Bandcamp, Apple Music, Spotify, and all major streaming platforms.
Lisa began her career in musical theater before finding her artistic home in cabaret and concert performance. She has appeared at many of New York's premier cabaret venues, including The Metropolitan Room, Pangea, 54 Below, Don't Tell Mama, and The Green Room 42. Her theater credits include numerous regional productions, and she toured nationally with Nickelodeon.
Lisa is proud to call New Jersey home, where she lives with her husband and their two sons.
